The Risen Christ | Easter Sunday 2025

00;00;03;03 - 00;00;29;11
Unknown
I was 20 years old at Mississippi State University. And I was born again. My life had gotten off the tracks. I was doing stupid stuff I should have been doing. And the Lord changed me. I've never been the same. I promise you, I've never been the same since that night. I've been perfect. But I've never been the same.

00;00;29;14 - 00;01;04;13
Unknown
And I praise Jesus that he changed my life. I hope he's changed your life. I hope and pray that you have trusted Jesus as your Savior and your Lord, and that you could testify with this song that he has changed you. Well, you've come to church on arguably the greatest Sunday of the year. Today we celebrate the climax of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

00;01;04;16 - 00;01;41;14
Unknown
Christians all over the world are gathering in their churches and they're worshiping the resurrected Lord. This Sunday, they're worshiping the resurrected Lord in secret churches. They're in Iran and China. They're gathered in churches in Africa, Asia, and they're all worshiping Jesus. And pastors will stand before their people today and they will say, Christ is risen and believers will respond in unison, he is risen indeed.

00;01;41;14 - 00;02;19;29
Unknown
Let's do that right now. Christ is risen! Let's do it again and really say it like we mean it. Okay? Christ is risen indeed! The fact that Jesus conquered Satan, sin, and death is the best news this world has ever received. Sangster was a famous British preacher, and in the mid 1950s he began to lose his voice and his mobility because of a progressive muscular atrophy.

00;02;20;02 - 00;02;49;02
Unknown
So he threw himself into writing and praying. Eventually his voice completely failed and he couldn't walk any longer. On an Easter morning shortly before he died, he took his pen and he wrote these words to his daughter. I quote he said, it is terrible to wake up on Easter morning and have no voice to shout. He is risen!

00;02;49;05 - 00;03;16;08
Unknown
But it would still be more terrible to have a voice and not want to shout. I pray that you and all who are joining us by a live stream this morning will capture the joy, the excitement, and the thrill that saturated the disciples on that first Easter morning. They had been heartbroken. They they knew that Jesus had died on the cross.

00;03;16;10 - 00;03;47;27
Unknown
He was buried in a borrowed tomb and they were heartbroken. And then word came to them from one of the women who had gone to the tomb said, he's not there. The tomb is empty. And Mary Magdalene said, I saw him. I saw the resurrected Christ. And soon that thrill and that joy, that excitement, penetrated all of their heart, and they would never be the same.

00;03;47;29 - 00;04;20;11
Unknown
This group of believers would turn the world upside down because they knew in their heart that Jesus was alive, and they understood the significance of the resurrection of Jesus. Do you understand the significance of the resurrection of Christ? Listen, I want you to find a place in your heart and easily accept accessible place in your heart. And I want you to tuck away this Easter truth so that you can retrieve it.

00;04;20;14 - 00;04;51;11
Unknown
You can retrieve it at any moment. Here's that truth. The risen Jesus is Lord. Now that's a simple statement. The risen Jesus is Lord. But I tell you, that statement is pregnant with meaning. In fact, I could spend days unpacking that. Unfortunately, because of limited time, I've had to decide what I can preach and what I can't preach this morning.

00;04;51;13 - 00;05;25;22
Unknown
And the Lord has laid on my heart exactly what he wants for me to preach. Now, when Jesus rose from the dead, he was seen by at least at least 552 people in 13 different places over a period of 40 days. Now, for those who discount the bodily resurrection of Christ, I honestly don't understand how you can do that in a legitimate way when there's such eyewitness proof that he was alive.

00;05;25;25 - 00;05;55;27
Unknown
Listen in Romans chapter ten, verse nine, going to be our jumping off place. This morning. Paul wrote that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Now listen. Jesus is Lord. I hope and pray you know that this morning this was a confession of the early church believers when they were baptized.

00;05;56;03 - 00;06;34;02
Unknown
Now, when we baptize people in our baptistry, we ask them to make a public profession of their faith in Jesus. And most believers will stand in that baptistry and they will declare, Jesus is my Lord and my Savior. I tell you, it's a powerful confession, but I want you to understand that many of these first century believers were eventually hauled before the courts, and they were haul before the leaders of governments, and they were martyred for their faith.

00;06;34;02 - 00;07;06;24
Unknown
They were martyred because they would not deny Jesus. And when they were dying, like when Polycarp was dying, like when, I'm sure when Peter was crucified upside down, I'm sure when Paul's head was cut off in in Rome, I'm sure the last words that they said was Jesus is Lord. You see, the Roman government want them to say that Caesar is Lord, but they wouldn't do it, and it cost of their lives.

00;07;06;26 - 00;07;43;08
Unknown
Now the word Lord refers to the deity and to the sovereign power and authority of Jesus. In the New Testament, the word Lord appears about 700 times, and this confession of his lordship is all always tied to his resurrection. That's what Romans ten nine is all about. Let me let me read that again, that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

00;07;43;10 - 00;08;23;07
Unknown
Now in Romans chapter one, verses 1 to 4, Paul introduced this concept. He wrote Paul a bondservant of Christ Jesus called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures concerning his Son Jesus, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh. Now listen to verse four, who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the spirit of holiness.

00;08;23;09 - 00;08;54;10
Unknown
Listen, these last word, Jesus Christ our Lord. I tell you, the Lordship of Christ and the resurrection of Christ are tied together in a knot that can never be untied. In Romans chapter 14, verse nine, Paul wrote, for this In Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord, both of the dead and of the living. This New Testament truth is irrevocable.

00;08;54;12 - 00;09;16;24
Unknown
The risen Christ is the risen Lord. The resurrection of Jesus is a cornerstone of the gospel. Take your Bible and turn to first Corinthians, first Corinthians, chapter 15, first Corinthians 15.

00;09;16;27 - 00;09;48;08
Unknown
Listen to verse three and four. What Paul said. Now Paul was writing. To a in a Greek culture, to a church that was very, very problematic. And he wanted to clarify what the gospel really was. You know, in our culture today, there are many people who have varying ideas about the gospel. And any time somebody asks me, pastor, what is the gospel?

00;09;48;08 - 00;10;19;25
Unknown
Can you just give me a clear definition of the gospel? Will I take them to these verses I'm about to read to you? Chapter 15 of First Corinthians, version three and four. Look at it, for I delivered to you as a first importance. What I also received, that Christ died for our sin. Do you realize that the Lord Jesus, 2000 years ago was nailed to a cross and God the Father, in a way that we will never understand?

00;10;19;27 - 00;10;55;19
Unknown
Understand? Took all of your sins past, present and future. All the sins of all the people in all the world. And he laid those sins upon His Son. The Bible says that when Jesus became sin for us, the noonday sun was darkened for three hours and Jesus cried out, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? It was a time of unspeakable torture for Jesus.

00;10;55;22 - 00;11;04;13
Unknown
And as he experienced that difficulty physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

00;11;04;16 - 00;11;19;19
Unknown
Oh dear friend, I want you to know that Jesus died for your sins. Because he loves you. He loves you.

00;11;19;22 - 00;11;54;11
Unknown
Listen, the implications of this truth are flat out amazing. Here's the first one. Number one, the salvation he provides. Our world is filled with people who are searching for meaning and purpose in life. They're searching for satisfaction in all kinds of places and in all kinds of ways. Some people are searching for satisfaction by accumulating as much of the world's goods as they possibly can.

00;11;54;14 - 00;12;23;23
Unknown
Some people are searching for satisfaction by chasing all the pleasures that the world puts before them. Some people are chasing satisfaction by trying to climb the career ladder until they get to the very top rung of their career. But the Bible says in Proverbs chapter 14 verse 12, there's a way which seems right to a man, but the end thereof is death.

00;12;23;26 - 00;12;47;28
Unknown
I'll tell you, all that stuff I mention is sinking sand. I tell you, if you will trust Jesus, if you will put your spiritual feet on the solid rock of Christ, on the fact that he loves you and he died for you. He was raised from the dead so that you could be forgiven of all your sins. I tell you, you will find the satisfaction you're looking for.

00;12;48;01 - 00;13;17;16
Unknown
In John chapter ten, verse eight, nine and ten, Jesus said, I am the door. He didn't say, I'm a door. He said, I am the door. Can I tell you there's only one door to heaven? Just one. And that door is Jesus. He said, I am the door. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.

00;13;17;18 - 00;13;45;06
Unknown
The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. Now listen, this here's Jesus. He says, I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. So you're searching for satisfaction. You're searching for fulfillment. I'll tell you near friend, based upon the authority of God's Word. Jesus can give you what you're searching for. And I hope and pray that today you will turn your heart to him.

00;13;45;08 - 00;14;19;24
Unknown
Our greatest problem is not our spouse. Our greatest problem is not our our health. Our greatest problem. The by far the greatest problem we have is sin. S I and do you realize that God is a holy, holy, holy God? And sin is an affront to our holy God. And our sin must be forgiven. The Bible says in Romans 323, for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

00;14;19;27 - 00;14;54;14
Unknown
That's every person in the world. And in Romans 623, Paul wrote, for the wages of sin is death. Separation from God. That's what sin does. Sin separates us from God. Hey, have you ever, as a man, have you ever done something to offend your wife? I know you have. Have you noticed what happens? Have you noticed how chilly things get in the room?

00;14;54;16 - 00;15;26;27
Unknown
Have you noticed how she doesn't speak to you very much? Have you noticed that she may even burn your food on purpose? I'll tell you if that's what happens between a husband and a wife. I promise you this. When we sin as human beings, it creates a tremendous gap between us and a holy, holy, holy God. But he offers us a remedy.

00;15;26;29 - 00;15;54;21
Unknown
He offers us a gift. The gift of salvation. Friend, you cannot earn your salvation. You can't earn your way into heaven. You can't be good enough. Religious enough. Nothing at life that will work. There's only one way you can receive the gift. And that is, receive it by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who will give you the gift you desperately need.

00;15;54;22 - 00;16;27;00
Unknown
Jesus is Lord. That powerful confession simply means that He and He alone can forgive your sins and cleanse your heart and make you acceptable to God. Now, the fact that God the Father raised him from the dead proves that he accepted his son sacrifice, and he will justify anyone who puts their faith in Jesus. It Romans 425 listen to this verse.

00;16;27;03 - 00;16;56;23
Unknown
He who was delivered over because of our transgression, that's Jesus and was raised because of our justification. Have you ever gone to a store and bought something and they gave you a receipt, right? They give you a receipt, and that receipt is there to prove that you actually bought this thing. And so when you walk out the door, you won't be arrested for taking something that did not belong to you.

00;16;56;26 - 00;17;22;20
Unknown
You got a receipt? Well, I'll tell you, the resurrection of Christ is our receipt from the Heavenly Father. That he has accepted the sacrifice of His Son for our sins, that we can be forgiven, that our sin can be separated from us as far as the East is from the west. And we can have this wonderful gift of eternal life with the receipt.

00;17;22;23 - 00;18;03;02
Unknown
Oh, man, that is good stuff. Listen, the reason Jesus is Lord. Number two, I want you to see the devotion he requires. The salvation he provides, the devotion he requires. Now the word Lord in the Old Testament was used in place of the the the covenant name of God. Because a Jew, they respected the holiness of God so much that they would even say the name Yahweh.

00;18;03;05 - 00;18;38;03
Unknown
They would substitute the word Lord, the confession. A true believer must make is this Jesus is God, and I live to please him. Can you make that confession today? So many people in our world. Stumble all over themselves and their throat chokes up and they can't say Jesus is God. Can I tell you he is God? He is God in the flesh.

00;18;38;03 - 00;19;05;28
Unknown
He is fully God, fully man. And God sent him to this planet in order to seek and to save the lost sinner just like us. That's how much God loves us. Well, I'll tell you, dear friend, when we can say Jesus is God and I live to please him, I tell you that is a a hallelujah moment in our lives.

00;19;06;00 - 00;19;37;14
Unknown
Primarily, it means that Jesus authority is unlimited and universal, and those who come to him by faith acknowledge that they have placed themselves entirely and without reservation under his authority to carry out his plan and his purpose for our life. Don't understand this. Let's. When you become a believer in Jesus, when you put your faith in Jesus, you have no veto power.

00;19;37;16 - 00;20;02;02
Unknown
None. Zero. When you put your faith in Jesus. You give up the power to call an audible in your life. Only Jesus can call the audibles. Only Jesus can say, look, I see you're doing this, but I want you to do this. Only Jesus can say, look, I know that this is your profession, but I'm calling you to be a pastor.

00;20;02;02 - 00;20;35;28
Unknown
I'm calling you to be a missionary. I'm calling you to be a godly plumber, a godly electrician. And the only thing we can honestly say in those moments when God calls us, when the resurrected Jesus calls us to do something is yes, Lord, yes, Lord. Here's the rub and it is a tremendous rub. We live in a world that is always trying to squeeze us into its mold.

00;20;36;00 - 00;21;02;01
Unknown
That's why Paul would write in Romans chapter 12, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. You see, when we choose our way, and we choose to do things the way we want to do them, it never works out good.

00;21;02;03 - 00;21;38;15
Unknown
We cannot allow the world to squeeze us into his mode. To declare that Jesus is your Lord means that everything that seeks to usurp our love for him and our loyalty to him, must be rooted out of our lives. There's no place for it in the life of someone who honestly can say, Jesus is Lord. Outward confession that Jesus is Lord stems from a profound inward conviction that Jesus rose from the dead.

00;21;38;15 - 00;22;17;04
Unknown
That that's a truth that we've got to get just riveted in our minds and hearts. Now, how could anyone question the relevance of our Lord's resurrection from the dead and of his absolute claim to lordship? We've already seen the salvation he provides. We've already seen the devotion he required. And if we were to stop right there, we would have to walk away from this church today and say, listen, there's nothing in my life more relevant than the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but we're not going to stop right there.

00;22;17;06 - 00;22;45;01
Unknown
There's one more point I want to make to you today, and that's the kingdom he governs. Now, confession is dependent upon what we believe and based upon what we've already learned. We believe that the risen Jesus is Lord. We believe that the risen Jesus saves and only he saves. And we believe that the risen Jesus deserves our full devotion.

00;22;45;03 - 00;23;15;25
Unknown
But we've got to understand that the resurrection and the Lordship of Jesus get this now has cosmic implications. Paul Beasley Murray wrote this and I quote, he said, Jesus is Lord may have been a personal confession of faith, but in no way could that confession be limited to the life of an individual believer in confessing Jesus as Lord.

00;23;15;28 - 00;23;55;22
Unknown
The early Christians were not in the first place declaring that Jesus was Lord of my life. They were declaring that Jesus was Lord of the whole world. The rule of the risen Christ cannot be restricted to the church. He who is Lord of the church is also Lord of the whole world. Now we have a habit in our church today, in our churches today, as believers, we have a habit of saying what Jesus is the Lord of my life, but he's far more than that.

00;23;55;25 - 00;24;22;19
Unknown
Now, it's okay to say that, and I'm not in any way saying, you should never say that. If you're a true believer. But I'm saying this don't limit Jesus. Don't limit his lordship because the Bible says in the New Testament he is head of the church, the body of Christ. And the Bible says that he is head of every nation.

00;24;22;21 - 00;25;11;26
Unknown
And I would. In my quiet time this week, I was reading in Daniel and I read about Nebuchadnezzar. And Nebuchadnezzar is one of the great kings of one of the great empires of the world, the empire of Babylon. And the Bible says in, chapter four of Daniel, verse 32, because Nebuchadnezzar had become proud and arrogant, and God sent a word to Nebuchadnezzar and say, you will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling place will be with the beasts of the field, and you will be given grass to eat like cattle in seven periods of time, or seven years will pass over you until you recognize that the Most High is ruler of the

00;25;11;26 - 00;25;50;05
Unknown
realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever he wishes. And immediately it happened. Verse 34 said, but at the end of that period I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I bless the Most High and praise, and honored him who lives forever for his dominion. Let's what then we can enter saying, Nebuchadnezzar said, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation, and all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing.

00;25;50;11 - 00;26;04;21
Unknown
But he does according to his will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. And no one can ward off his hand, or say to him, what have you done?

00;26;04;23 - 00;26;41;06
Unknown
Let me tell you, my friend Jesus, the risen Jesus is Lord of everything. He is King of kings, and he is Lord of lords. I tell you, listen this Jesus is Lord of every demon in hell. He is Lord of Satan and all the demons of hell and Satan himself tremble when they get around believers who are seriously living for Jesus, who are seriously worshiping him as we did this morning.

00;26;41;08 - 00;27;10;13
Unknown
You remember Jesus during your earthly ministry, you encountered demon possessed people. You remember that and those demons when they met, Jesus would cry out, what do we have to do with you? Oh son of God? And Jesus would just say a word, be gone. And those demons had to leave of them possessed people. I tell you, Jesus is Lord of all creation.

00;27;10;16 - 00;27;38;01
Unknown
Paul attested to this in Philippians chapter two, verses 9 to 11 when he wrote, for this reason also God highly exalted him. Here's an interesting thing. It doesn't say that God exalted Jesus. It says that God highly exalted Jesus. It's a word we get our word hyper from. You may have hyper pre-schoolers in your home and they just go at lightning speed.

00;27;38;01 - 00;28;04;03
Unknown
You know what I'm talking about. Let me tell you, Jesus highly hyper exalted Jesus gave him look at this and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow those who are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

00;28;04;03 - 00;28;37;07
Unknown
I tell you one day, mark it down. Every demon inhale Satan himself, every and every god, forsaking atheist, will bow their knee and they will say to Jesus, you are Lord, you're Lord, and they'll do it to the glory of God the Father. John received a vision of heaven, and I want you to to hear a description of one of the sayings he observed.

00;28;37;10 - 00;29;07;05
Unknown
It's in revelation chapter five. In revelation chapter five, there's a book, and this book has been sealed up with seals, and no one in heaven could open the book. That book represents the title deed. The planet Earth. Until Jesus appeared and Jesus took the book and he opened the book. And I'll tell you, worship broke out in heaven.

00;29;07;07 - 00;29;33;11
Unknown
The Bible says, and I looked and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was myriads of mirrors and thousands of thousand, saying with a loud voice, worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power and riches, and wisdom and might, and honor and glory and blessing, and every created thing which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things in them.

00;29;33;11 - 00;30;02;02
Unknown
I heard saying to him who sits on the throne, and to the lamb be blessing, and honor, and glory and dominion forever and ever. And the four living creatures kept saying, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshiped for the life of me. I cannot understand how any sane individual can reject the idea of the resurrection of Jesus.

00;30;02;05 - 00;30;32;02
Unknown
It is a proven fact, and it is a powerful fact that has a multitude of implications, many of which I cannot go over today. I'm only covering three of them today. To the risen and exalted Jesus. Universal submission is for. The writer of Hebrews stated this in Hebrews chapter two, verse eight. You have put all things in subjection under his feet, under the feet of Jesus.

00;30;32;05 - 00;31;01;00
Unknown
For in subjecting all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not see all things subjected to him, but we will one day, listen, for the veterans who who went through World War two, they could say, well, D-Day is behind us, but v v Victory Day is ahead of us.

00;31;01;02 - 00;31;24;24
Unknown
That's where we are. I'll tell you, D-Day is behind. The D-Day was a cross and the empty tomb. That's D-Day. But I tell you, Victory Day is coming. But the Lord Jesus is coming again. He's coming again. I'll tell you he's coming not to suffer for our sins. He's coming to rule and reign forever and ever and ever.

00;31;25;02 - 00;31;59;02
Unknown
And this is when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that he is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. I was in my study yesterday studying for this sermon, and I'm studying my head off. And, I get up, a notification on Facebook. Somebody sent me a song. It was by CC winning. And it's about the second coming of Jesus.

00;31;59;04 - 00;32;27;18
Unknown
And I'm just going to be honest with you, I cried. That office became holy ground. If you weren't just looking in, you might have thought, man, that guy's lost his mind. I had my hands up. I was worshiping Jesus. I was singing along with CC Winans. I'm so glad she didn't hear me, man. I was worse than Jesus.

00;32;27;20 - 00;32;49;25
Unknown
I'll tell you one day we will worship him in person. If you're a believer, one day everything will be subjected to him, even though it's not right now, you can go to the bank with it. Here's our truth that we put in that that little drawer that's accessible at all times. Here's the truth the risen Jesus is Lord.

00;32;49;25 - 00;33;31;10
Unknown
You're not. You're not, I'm not no politician. He is the risen Jesus is Lord. Now, we've looked at some implication that the salvation he provides. Can I ask you, have you repented of your sin? Have you asked the Holy God of Heaven to forgive you for your sins? Have you received Jesus as your Savior and your Lord? Have you put your faith and trust in him and what he did for you on the cross and through the resurrection?

00;33;31;13 - 00;34;04;08
Unknown
Have you confessed him publicly through believers baptism? So many believers today look at baptism as something that's an outdated relic of a religion that's long past. Do let let me tell you some. Baptism is something that Jesus requires of every person who is born again. Maybe you're born again and you've never been baptized. I want to encourage you to come to one of our stand, and I'm going to ask our staff to come.

00;34;04;08 - 00;34;22;21
Unknown
I'm going to ask our worship team to come, and we're going to give you an opportunity to respond to what the Holy Spirit may have said to your heart today. Maybe you want to come and just say to a staff member, I want to be saved today. I want that salvation and that gift that only Jesus can provide for me.

00;34;22;23 - 00;34;52;18
Unknown
He'll give it to you if you put your faith in him. Or maybe you want to come and say, I'm ready to be baptized and profess Jesus as my Lord publicly. Number two, the devotion he requires. As you survey your life, as you survey your priorities, let me ask you a question. As a believer in Jesus getting your best or is getting leftovers?

00;34;52;20 - 00;35;13;25
Unknown
What about it? Listen, he deserves your best. He deserves the best of your time, the best of your talent, and the best of your treasure. He deserves it. He's. Lord, I'm going to ask you. Maybe you want to come to the altar and just bow before the Lord and and ask him to to bring you back to him.

00;35;13;25 - 00;35;46;08
Unknown
Maybe you feel so far away from him. Can I tell you he hasn't moved? You have. Come back to Jesus, ask him to help you to be the man or the woman he's called you to be. And then finally, the kingdom he governs. In Colossians chapter three, verses 1 to 4, Paul wrote, therefore, if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ is, our life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory. Let me ask you as a born again believer, as somebody who has professed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, who are you seeking?

The things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God? Are you so locked into this world system that you're ignoring the most important stuff in your life, the stuff that Jesus can provide for you? Let me ask you, do you look forward to going to heaven? That's what this verse says. When Christ is our life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.

I'm just going to be honest with you. I look forward to going to heaven. The Bible says in the presence of God there's fullness of joy and in God's right hand there are pleasures forever. You can't beat that. And don't get so locked into this world. Let me tell you, if God's good to you, you may live to be 80 years old.

What is that compared to eternity? Listen, there's no guarantee you're going to live to be 80 years old. I've. I've done funerals for little kids before. I've done funerals for teenagers. I've done funerals for young adults and middle age adults, and certainly senior adults. There's no guarantee. And if you're ever going to live for Jesus, if you're ever going to live for the things of the kingdom, now is the time.

I encourage you come to this altar, turn to your King and say, Lord, help me to seek first the things above where you are seated at the right hand of God. Help me not to set my mind on the things that are on earth. My life is hidden with you in God and I look so forward when I am revealed with you in glory.

Oh my goodness, let me pray. Father, in the name of Jesus, have your way in our hearts. Say those who need to be saved work powerfully in believers who need to come to you and draw near to you and line their lives up with the Word of God, the way of God, and the will of God. Oh God, thank you for Jesus, whom you raised from the dead or we love you.

In Jesus name, Amen. Let's stand and worship and you come as God leads.
