And there's not a mom in this room, probably, who would not say, especially these young moms who would not say, I need some peace and quiet.

Amen. Do I hear Amen from the moms? All right. Unfortunately, there is a tremendous lack of peace in our world. Wars and rumors of wars dominate the news cycles. There's a lack of peace in our nation. Political and racial tensions constantly boil beneath the surface. Furthermore, there's a lack of peace in our homes. Families are fragmented and dominated by love for the things of this world.

And there's a lot of hurt in our families. Is there any hope? Before Jesus was arrested and crucified. He gathered his anxious disciples in the upper room, and he gave them last minute instructions and encouragement. And he included a phenomenal promise. Our focus for the last several weeks has been first words of the resurrected Christ. By the way, do you understand that one day, if you're a born again believer, if you have repented of your sin and you placed your faith in Jesus as your Savior and your Lord one day you will receive your own resurrected body.

I'll tell you, there's a citizenship that trumps your citizenship of the United States of America, and it's your citizenship in heaven to be with Jesus forever and ever, to be enrolled in the Lamb's Book of Life.
